I’ll give you, umm, 7 to 2 odds that she doesn’t have any clinically defined OCD, it’s just the Internet diagnosis she uses to explain away her small-minded, joyless existence.

I actually do have clinical OCD so I’ll weigh in:

-I don’t give a fuck if they sell shirts this way, it’s kind of funny, and besides, Christmas these days has deteriorated into a pretty obsessive mess

-She probably does not have OCD. Maybe borderline, or just feminism.

-Real OCD is a wide-awake nightmare. Imagine being tormented constantly by fears of obscure diseases, fears about harming others, or about your own nature (gay? evil? stupid? and on and on). These fears never stop and the more you try to rationalize them away, the stronger they return, and as soon as you’re convinced one fear is unwarranted, a different one pops up. Surely this was an evolutionary advantage at one point, where threats were matters of physical life and death. Today’s world is a modern moral cesspool though, where this type of hyperactive immune system (a) runs all the time, and (b) has no survival advantage.
