  1. Many judges in Texas are selected in partisan political elections, so campaigning for judicial office is part of the norm, although doing it from the bench may be a breach of judicial ethics. The feminization of the judiciary and the legal profession is part of the on-going train wreck that is the western world in the early 21st Century.

  2. Can anyone explain the hats? I’ve heard they are supposed to be pussy hats, but the don’t look like any pussies I’ve seen.

    Is it supposed to be like cat ears or what? I mean, it just looks like a cheap toboggan. I don’t get it.

  3. County level judges are the worst sort of political hacks. As are most at the higher levels but at least at the federal level you have to demonstrate some minimal level of education and experience.

  5. Eckhardt is a typical shitlib judge of the type that routinely infests blue areas like Austin.

    See for yourself.

    https://www.traviscountytx.gov/commissioners-court/county-judge/about

    In Nov. of ’15, the normally-reliable shitlib voters of Austin went a little crazy and rejected a $287 million (!!!) bond for a lavish new Travis County courthouse (we’re talking granite edifice, teakwood paneling for Kort chambers as well as a private dining room for the legal parasites).

    http://watchdog.org/245909/austin-courthouse-bond/

    Eckhardt melted down, excoriating the voters (though these comments were widely reported on local media, but have been memholed online) for denying her new digs and promised they would regret it.

    And so they have. She sits on the County Commissioner’s Court, which sets property tax rates/home valuations and surprise, surprise! home valuations and hence tax bills skyrocketed last year. This is leading to the rapid gentrification of Austin as faggots and other DINKs move in and push the precious minorities out so that shitlibs don’t have to look at them but can still virtue-signal over a latte.

    tl;dr-Repeal the 19th

    Now with shitlibs doubling, tripling and even quadrupling down on their tantrums, tyranny, arrogance and general insanity, I think Civil War II is closer than they think and unlike most cases, the sequel promises to be better than the original.

    {ed: this is nothing less than judicial tyranny. and like any tyranny it must be fought, in blood if necessary.}

    1. Yes. This is one of the benefits of Trump’s election that I hadn’t thought of at the time. It is very possible that when the civil war starts, we will be the union and not the rebels. Who’d have thought that was possible, even just a year ago?

  6. “County judges” in Texas aren’t judges. They are county executives, like mayors. The name is just a quirk of Texas’s state constitution. And Travis County is Austin – the tiny blue libtopia in a sea of red.

    Actual state judges in Texas are usually called something like “circuit judges.” While they are elected, the are usually a little bit more circumspect than this woman.

    All that being said, she’s still ridiculous and clearly undeserving of public office.
